Main Article:

"Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" - with two and a half million viewers during the first week (Germany) it's on a way to become a box-office hit. But the love of the fans concentrates more than at the first movie not only on Daniel Radcliffe (13). Of all people, his enemy, Slytherin bad boy number one, is on the best way to steal Harry his fans... And this just because of Draco-actor Tom Felton (15). He shines not just because of his sparkling eyes, but because of his great talent.

At the age of seven he started a career - as singer in the church choir! He was so good that even the prestigious Guildford-Cathedral wanted to win him for their choir-a great honor in England!

Today, Tom likes more to listen to Rap than church songs. His favourite is Eminem, suiting his Slytherin bad boy image! But he also loves the quiet. Tom: "I spend my free time fishing at the Bury-Hill lake."

Tom's contrary programme: Playing football with his friends on the football field.

Tom had his premiere as an actor in 1994 in an advertising spot. He had his first real success in 1999. At the side of US actress Jodie Foster, he was allowed to play in "Anna and the King." (He played her son Louis.)

His part in HP was only second choice, he wanted to play the main hero! But he soon liked his role as Draco, but he wants to quit after the third part. "I want to make a good graduation- and find a girlfriend at last!" (the Skunk says: HE CAN HAVE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Article Two:

Headline: Tom "Draco" Felton: "Maybe I'll quit"

Underline: As Draco, Tom has the most interesting part in HP. But his appearance in PoA is not sure yet.

(red sweater pic) Tom answered the questions of Yam! Journalist Christian in London

(big pic) Tom was born on September 22th 1987 in London as the youngest of four brothers. He played in "The Borrowers"and many TV series.

(DVD release pic) Tom: "What a pity that I can see the others only on set, but school comes first!"

(premiere pic) Tom gave many autographs at the Premiere of CoS

It can't be more expensive: Tom Felton expects Yam! for the interview in a suite of the Dorchester Hotel in London. And the 15-year old youngster, who can do magic in HP, seems to be able to read thoughts in private. His slightly embarrassed saying in the beginning: "Hey, don't look at me like that. The film distributors have booked this crib, not me!" And we believe him at once: In private, Tom doesn't have any familiarities with his role as an arrogant, narky bastard. On the contrary: Tom - with a cool red hooded sweater - is really nice, seems very level-headed and shows no sign of airs and graces.

Yam!: Was there any difference between the shootings from the first movie and the second now?
Tom: Yes, of course. During the first shooting we had to get to know each other. And when we saw each other again, we were really happy and had lots of fun.

Has anything changed since your success?
Tom: Oh, not much. I've bought myself my own CD-player and I get more mails than before.

Do you answer all your letters yourself?
Tom: I try to answer the most of them myself. It depends what the letter says or which things the fans want to know from me.

Do you get any hate-mails?
Tom: The movie industry sorts the heaviest out. I wish they'd give me some really mean Draco-haters mails, that would be really funny! (grins)

What about love letters?
Tom: Every day three bags full! (laughs) No, not that much. I don't know, maybe the proposals are sorted out as well. (grins shyly) Even though I'm single...

Is it very hard to play a bad boy?
Tom: Not really. It's more a challenge, because you have to cope with your own anger and put it into action. But that's why I find my part so exciting!

Your own anger? Do you have anything with Draco in common?
Tom: Not too bad (looks jokingly angry) When I'm in a bad mood, I can get pissed off a little, but that doesn't happen often.

Have you read all the HP books?
Tom: No, to be honest, I was never really a fan of the books...

Why's that?
Tom: I'm not really into books, I like it better to play with my friends football or I go fishing for carps with my brother.

Is acting your dreamjob?
Tom: No. It's great fun, but I don't put my entire heart in it. Maybe I'll quit soon...

Really? What about the many fans of yours?
Tom: I'll play as long as the people want to see me, but later I want to open my own fishing company.

But you'll take part in the third HP movie, won't you?
Tom: I haven't signed in yet, but I reckon I'll do it.

You're also a great singer. Don't you want to become a second Robbie Williams?
Tom: God, no! No way! My choir time was years ago, I was half as old as I'm now. I don't want to do that any more.

Huge thanks to Liz for translating it from German !
